  • Laura Wilons

    VP, West Region

I am honored to serve as Vice President of West Tennessee! As I entered my master’s program at the University of Kansas, I knew that I wanted to have a positive impact on intellectually gifted students and be able to share my knowledge and expertise with teaching peers. As a former gifted student in the CLUE program, I pride myself on both writing creative curriculum and building relationships with the students, families, and teachers I work with. As a sixteen-year CLUE teacher veteran, I was honored to be the 2024 TAG Teacher of the Year. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my two children and family.  I also have two miniature schnauzers and open her home to foster schnauzers who have fallen on hard times.  I am an avid member of Cyclebar and active in the Jewish community.
